The merino wool has undergone a Plasma treatment (a gentle shock treatment), making it extremely soft against the skin while retaining the wool's beneficial properties; breathable, temperature-regulating, and flexible. They are ideal under a pair of softshell trousers or as an extra warming layer on cold days.
