Preface

AOVM (hereafter referred to as AOVM or the company) is fully aware that we carry a significant responsibility towards both our customers and the world around us.

We work systematically and strategically with sustainability and responsibility to ensure that our customers can trust in the quality of our products while we take the greatest possible consideration for people, the environment, society, and animal welfare.

Based on this, we have prepared this ESG policy.

Environment and climate

Environmental certification:
Since 1991, AOVM has owned its own dyehouse in Denmark.
After many years of focusing on environmental improvements, the company achieved the Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification in 2010 and has since continued to meet the requirements for re-certification.

Textiles with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel are among the most environmentally responsible on the market and are characterised by the following*:

• Produced using fibres that are either organic, recycled, or based on renewable raw materials that meet specific environmental requirements
• Compliant with strict environmental and health standards for chemicals used in textile production
• Manufactured using water- and energy-efficient processes
• Quality-tested to ensure a long lifespan
• Contain only metal components – such as buttons – that comply with strict heavy metal requirements
• Produced under decent working conditions, in line with the UN’s conventions on workers’ rights (ILO)
• Must not be incinerated or sent to landfill if unsold

We aim to maintain our Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification by continuously assessing whether our product range can be expanded with additional Nordic Swan Ecolabelled clothes.

In cases where dyeing is not carried out at our own facility, we require third-party GOTS certification.

Both the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and GOTS impose strict environmental standards.

Climate:
We intend to calculate AOVM’s carbon footprint to gain an overview of where we can contribute to climate improvements. Based on this, AOVM plans to invest in energy-saving initiatives such as solar panels, heat pumps, and more.

Suppliers and social responsibility in the value chain

DILLING is a member of Amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative*), which sets requirements for social conditions.

We aim to promote responsible value chains through close dialogue and cooperation with our suppliers. This will be supported by systematic due diligence processes and a Code of Conduct.

We will continuously assess risks and have drafted a due diligence commitment to support this.

Our focus is on maximum transparency in all our processes and on showing the individual steps in the value chain for each product.

Employee conditions

We aim to ensure that all AOVM’s activities are carried out with respect for the UN’s human rights – including the ILO’s conventions on workers’ rights.
AOVM considers these rights to be universal – applying to all individuals regardless of gender, sexual orientation, nationality, race, ethnicity, or political, cultural, or religious belief.

Accordingly, AOVM aims to promote diversity and gender equality across the company’s workforce.

Anti-corruption and bribery

We strongly reject all forms of corruption and bribery. It is a fundamental part of our company values that all employees are instructed not to accept or offer anything of value with the purpose of gaining undue advantages.

When working with suppliers, we will prioritise sourcing from countries with the lowest possible levels of corruption. This forms part of our due diligence risk assessment.

Review of the ESG policy

The ESG policy is reviewed annually and approved by DILLING’s CEO and COO.

Commitment to sustainability due diligence

At DILLING we want to act responsibly in both the operation and development of our company.

Therefore, we strive to work systematically and dedicatedly with responsibility.
We will do this by integrating the work with sustainability due diligence.

This commitment is based on internationally recognized principles (OECD's Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights), which are necessary to achieve a sustainable development, i.e., human rights, labour rights, environment (climate and biodiversity), and anti-corruption.

In our work with sustainability due diligence, we will conduct a risk assessment of where we as a company have the potentially most significant negative impacts on people, the environment and society in our supply chains. We will address the potential and actual negative impacts that we cause, contribute to, or are linked to through our business relationships, e.g., through our suppliers.

In our implementation of sustainability due diligence, we will involve our suppliers and other relevant organisations and persons.

Since due diligence is an on-going process, we will continuously develoр our approach and efforts associated with sustainability due diligence.

This commitment has been approved by the board/top management, is publicly available on our website, and is communicated both internally and externally.

The Danish Energy Agency has approved the submission of the energy and climate assessments for DILLING A/S.

The approval is based on the material submitted on 11 July 2025, which has been assessed to meet the requirements of § 4 (energy assessment) and § 8 (climate assessment) of Executive Order no. 761 of 18 June 2024 on mandatory energy management systems, energy assessments and climate assessments in certain companies.

Below is the action plan.
The next submission of energy and climate assessments for DILLING A/S will be in 2029.
