These nursing pads are made from organic merino wool which will feel warm and comfortable around your breast, without making you sweat. They are made from a layer of soft wool fleece and three layers of smooth wool quality. As they have been made without the use of any harmful chemicals or heavy metals, you can safely wear them close to the skin without worrying about your and your baby's wellbeing. When nursing, keeping the breast warm and dry is an important step to prevent mastitis (breast infection) and other unwanted discomforts. The merino wool will keep your breast warm and is also naturally moisture absorbent – we do, however, recommend that you supplement with highly absorbent nursing pads to keep the breast dry. There are two nursing pads in each bag.
