Lead designer at DILLING
When she opens the window in her home, all she hears is nature - the sound of simple living. The coop in her backyard houses a brood of chickens. The gentle bustling and clucking from the hens remind Anna Schuller, how important it is to choose the calm and the simple in her private life, but to also extend this to her work as a designer at DILLING.
“For as long as I can remember, I have always designed and thought about clothing in a simple manner. Later, when I took my design education, it became important for me to combine simplicity with sustainability. To challenge myself, I was determined that my first job as a designer should be in a very big and commercial company where I could learn all the mistakes and experience how not to work sustainably,“ Anna explains.
This, however, is not how things turned out for Anna. An instructor from the design school in Herning, where DILLING is also located, convinced her to work 100% consciously with sustainability at DILLING. She never thought that underwear would become her great passion, but it did, not least because of the organic wool.
Wool is such a unique fibre to work with. It is very fascinating that the sheep’s wool has these amazing qualities to keep out the cold and protect against the heat. Then we take the wool, turn it into products that we as humans can wear, and it still possess the same natural properties.

Since Anna became part of DILLING five years ago, she has been part of a very fast-growing company. In a sometimes fast paced work environment, Anna, however, remains true to her initial inspiration: simplicity and her dream of combining simplicity and sustainability.
I have a dream that we, as consumers, will continue to become even more conscious. We also work with this at DILLING. Therefore, we need to become even better at getting our vision across. For one thing is certain: Today, we already have very conscious customers who demand eco-friendly and sustainability - and rightfully so. Their children will become even more conscious, future consumers. And thank god for that!
