Men's merino wool tank top- grey

DILLING's pure organic merino wool is the perfect material for clothing, although many people still believe wool is itchy, and it often is! However, at DILLING's Danish Nordic Swan Ecolabelled dye works, we put the wool through a 16-hour eco-friendly enzyme treatment to remove all itchy fibres. This makes the product incredibly soft and skin-friendly. We recommend combining this product with our merino wool long johns to help keep you extra warm.

The wool's unique properties alongside our unique, pure production process provide you with a incredibly clean product.

Suitable for: Base layer for all-year round. The merino wool regulates your body temperature, keeping you comfortable both indoors and out. All of DILLING’s wool and cotton is of the highest quality and is organic when we buy it from our supplier.

At DILLING, we have chosen to be Nordic swan eco labelled as they have the strictest requirements regarding the colour and treatment process.

We do not use harmful chemicals or heavy metals for the dying of our products.

An independent test of the wastewater from our dyehouse shows that the amount of heavy metals in our wastewater is below the limit of drinking water.

Care and washing instructions for merino wool:

Your woollen products from DILLING can be machine washed. It is however, important to wash all products on a wool programme with wool detergent to ensure the wool does not shrink.

The wool can also be washed by hand, but it may not be soaked.

To protect the woollen products from moths, they should be washed at the end of the season, then dried well and stored in a dark place, preferably in a tight plastic bag.

We guarantee the greatest possible level of transparency in all our processes. Because we own much of our own supply chain, we know exactly where our garments are made, who have made them, and how they have been treated. Our supply chain is composed of six core stages – fibre source, spinning, knitting, colouring, cutting, and sewing. Click here to read more about our production.

Quality description

1x1 smooth

Our signature wool quality. 1x1 products have a smooth and even surface, but if you take a closer look at the fabric, you will see that it has a tiny rib structure.

All our 1x1 products have received a unique 16-hour environmentally friendly enzyme treatment, which leaves you with an incredibly soft and itch free product. This knitting technique gives the 1x1 medium stretchability and a comfortably light feel with plenty of freedom to move. Essentially, this means that your 1x1 products will stretch when worn, but the wool fibres will contract again after wash. The wool fibres are raw (untreated) which means that the naturally insulating and moisture absorbing properties of the wool are kept intact.
